We're Growing
Primeros Pasos purchased, through a gift from Discover Bank (formerly Greenwood Trust), a 1.39-acre piece of property on which to build the new childhood education center. The 4500 square-foot facility was designed by Moonlight Architecture, a member of the architectural team that built the acclaimed early-learning center at Delaware Technical and Community College in Georgetown. This building provides state-of-the-art infrastructure to support the programming designed for Primeros Pasos.
The property is located at 20648 Savannah Road in Georgetown, Delaware -- a location across the street one of the major poultry processing plants where many parents work, and one that will be very convenient for parents.
Future Growth
In keeping with its efforts to meet the educational needs of as many children and their families as possible, Primeros Pasos has developed a Phase 2 plan which includes an additional building which will increase its capacity to serve up to 75 children.
